Philosophie
Surely and imperceptibly, I learned about the secrets of art metallurgy: a process which took a long time which I started at middle age when I had to choose between the production in the metal industry, which gave a certain security or taking a more personal path, the artistic creation. I didn't hesitate long.
Since my childhood I have been attracted to Art and Beauty, and I had this secret desire to produce objects with my own hands which honoured the things that I admired the most: the power and the energy of Nature, the magic of the East, the universe of Greco-Latin Antiquity and the endless power of dreams.
I have found an inexhaustible source of inspiration to make the metal furniture I create -tables, consoles, sofas, chairs, mirrors, lamps and chandeliers- decorated with fabulous animals, disturbing griffins, unicorns, pegasi as well as exotic and majestic trees, poisonous flowers and mysterious leaves.
In order to create, I only use noble and pure materials such as: glass tiles, rare marble from Italy, onyx from the East and precious leather. The patinas are carefully worked with golden leaf, "antique bronze". These give my work, I hope, a rare touch of elegance and authenticity.
The work and the creative process, renewed every time, allows me to produce furniture and sculptures in limited editions, numbered and signed with care.
